Petar Čekerevac is the Executive Manager of the Libertarian Club – Libek. He is responsible for fundraising, international partnerships and strategic planning of the organization. Libek promotes the values of free society, individual liberty, free markets and peace through education, public policy research and advocacy. The organization has trained over 350 young leaders in Serbia and the Balkans, and its policy proposals and research papers have been used by top – level politicians and the mainstream media.
Petar holds a BA in International Relations, and an MA in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Belgrade and has studied Scandinavian Government and Politics and International Politics at the University of Oslo, Norway. He is a graduate of the Atlas Network Leadership Academy and an Atlas Network Smith Fellowship alumnus.
His main professional interests are public policy, individual rights and conflict resolution. He often speaks on events for students, public policy stakeholders and activists and has been a speaker on events in Serbia, Western Balkans region, Germany, France, Denmark, Greece, US, UK, Hungary and Russia
