Josef Šíma, Ph.D., is a professor of economics at the Metropolitan University in Prague and lecturer at Anglo-American University. He is also president emeritus of the CEVRO Institute.
He earned his Ph.D. in Economics and his M.A. in Finance and International Politics at Prague’s University of Economics. He also served as president of an annual interdisciplinary conference in Prague since 2005, the Prague Conference on Political Economy.
Josef translated over ten books (including free-market classics such as Ludwig von Mises’s Human Action, Murray Rothbard’s Man, Economy, and State, or Milton Friedman’s The Money Mischief). He supervised the publication of tens of more. He has published dozens of articles in professional and popular journals and a number of his books, which can be found at josefsima.net.
