Lorenzo Montanari is Vice President of the International Affairs at the Americans for Tax Reform Foundation (ATRF) and Executive Director of the Property Rights Alliance (PRA) an advocacy group affiliated with ATRF for the protection of free trade, physical and intellectual property rights, both domestically and internationally. He organized training workshops in Europe, Latin America and Southeast Asia and he is co-chair of the International Coalition Meeting in partnership with Acton Institute. On the international stage, PRA works closely with famed property rights champion and President of the Institute for Liberty and Democracy (ILD) in Lima, Peru, Hernando de Soto and other 125 think tanks. At Property Rights Alliance, he is the editor of the International Property Rights Index and the International Trade Barrier Index, two international comparative studies focus on intellectual and physical property rights and trade respectively. Previously, Montanari worked for a public affairs firm and for the international department of the GSPM/George Washington University in Washington, DC as well as a political analyst and electoral observer in Latin America. Montanari holds a BA in Political Science, a MA in International Relations from the University of Bologna and MA in Political Management from George Washington University. He was a National Review Fellow in 2017. He collaborates with Forbes, he is a co-founder of the Italian free-market institute Mercatus, an editorial board member of the European Conservative Magazine and Board of Trustee of the International Freedom Education Foundation.
