Leonardas Marcinkevičius is an expert at the Lithuanian Free Market Institute (LFMI), focusing on monetary policy, inflation, and public finance. He regularly contributes to Lithuanian media and public debate on central banking and economic freedom.
Since 2022, he has provided in-depth analysis of ECB decisions and economic policy trends. Prior to LFMI, he worked as a business journalist at Lithuania’s news agency ELTA and has experience in the financial sector.
Leonardas holds a master’s degree in International Politics and Economics from Mykolas Romeris University and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Political Science at Kaunas University of Technology, with research interests in moral and political philosophy.
From 2017 to 2018, he served as Chairman of the Vilnius Liberal Youth, leading initiatives to promote the ideas of liberty and economic freedom.
