Nataliya Melnyk is the Executive Director of the Bendukidze Free Market Center in Kyiv, Ukraine. The Center is dedicated to advancing individual liberty, limited government, and free markets through innovative policy analysis, educational initiatives, and direct collaboration with decision-makers across government, business, and civil society.
A frequent contributor to discussions on the war in Ukraine and the country’s economic and political development, Nataliya shares insights through foreign media and serves as an investment consultant for both for-profit and nonprofit organizations.
Nataliya has authored and led numerous workshops for youth and educators, co-created the online economic literacy course Economics for Every Day, and edited the Ukrainian editions of the Fraser Institute’s Economic Freedom of the World Report (2018 and 2019). She is also the editor of the Economics for 8-9 Grades textbook and co-creator of the Teacher’s Toolkit for Common Sense Economics.
Before joining the Bendukidze Free Market Center, Nataliya worked as a development and communications manager for various organizations. She also conducted postgraduate research at the Kuras Institute of Political and Ethnic Studies, focusing on national sovereignty in a globalized world, political identity in Ukrainian society, and Polish-Ukrainian relations.
