Zhou Fengsuo is a civic activist and prominent dissident from China. As one of the leaders of the Beijing Students’ Autonomous Federation, he played a pivotal role in the Tiananmen Square protests.
Following the violent crackdown, Zhou was arrested and exiled to Hebei Province by the communist government. In 1995, he relocated to the United States, where he has dedicated himself to human rights activism, supporting defenders of human rights in China and members of the Chinese diaspora.
