Jorge Miguel Teixeira is a Member of the Portuguese Parliament for Iniciativa Liberal, elected in Lisbon, where he serves on the Committees on European Affairs and Environment & Energy.
A former National Coordinator of Students For Liberty Portugal, Jorge has been active in liberal politics and civil society for over a decade. Before entering Parliament, he worked as a parliamentary advisor on environmental and agricultural policy, and as a public policy consultant at the Center for Future Generations in Brussels, focusing on AI governance.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Lisbon and a master’s in Politics from the University of Oxford.
