Since 2011, LibertyCon has been the largest gathering of liberty-minded individuals and organisations from across the continent, previously held in Leuven, Berlin, Prague, Belgrade, Madrid, Lisbon, and Tbilisi, and most recently in Madrid in 2026, where it once again brought the pro-liberty movement together with resounding success.
Madrid’s debut as host city, built around the theme “Enlightening the World.” A target of 500 attendees was comfortably beaten at 640, and for the first time, LibertyCon Europe hosted SFL’s global Awards Dinner in full, with Europe taking home two of the top honors.
Prague’s second turn hosting the event, held inside the 19th-century Gabriel Loci castle and drawing the widest international footprint of any edition, with attendees from 56 countries, the most ever. The second-largest LibertyCon since the pandemic, built around economic freedom, human rights, and the defense of Ukraine.
The largest-ever edition, brought to Tbilisi for the first time. Across three days and three simultaneous stages, the program ran from Tiananmen Square to Kakha Bendukidze’s legacy to a full Objectivist “ReasonFest” track, the most ambitious program the event had run to date.
The biggest-ever pro-liberty event held in Portugal, centered on free markets, open society, and new technology as war and an energy crisis reshaped the continent.
The largest pro-liberty gathering in Europe since pandemic restrictions lifted. Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya opened with a keynote on resisting Belarusian authoritarianism, and the event closed its first day with sessions on Bitcoin, Ukraine, and the road out of communism, before launching a brand-new second-day festival format for the first time.
