PhD candidate in Philosophy, holder of a Master’s degree in Philosophy for Contemporary Challenges from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (Spain), and a graduate in Political Science and Public Administration from Pompeu Fabra University (Spain). She has taught at Núcleo Faro at Universidad del Desarrollo (Chile) and has been a Fellow at the Madrid campus of Francisco Marroquín University (Guatemala). Her research focuses on applied ethics and political behavior.
Professionally, Irune works as a political consultant. She served as Deputy Director of the Instituto Juan de Mariana between 2018 and 2021, and is now its International Project Manager. She worked as an advisor in the cabinet of the Regional Minister for Economy, Finance, and Employment of the Madrid Region until January 2023. Since then, she has focused on the study and analysis of international political intelligence. She has recently found a political risk analysis company that uses Artificial Intelligence.
