Miguel Gonzalez Calvo

Monetary Economist

Miguel González Calvo is an economist, university lecturer, and PhD candidate at Universidad de las Hespérides, where he researches monetary policy and inflation dynamics. He teaches courses on blockchain, international economics, and quantitative methods, covering areas such as central bank digital currencies, smart contracts, decentralized finance, and programmable money.

He also researches on artificial intelligence and other digital topics, and brings a technical perspective to debates on digital currencies and financial regulation. Recently he has presented research on historical inflation episodes at the APEE Annual Meeting.
