Wolfgang Müller

Wolfgang Müller is a German expert on energy transition with extensive experience in international policy and economic research. He currently serves as Executive Director of the Global Nuclear Energy Initiative (GNEI). Early in his career, he served as country director for a German foundation in South Africa and Zimbabwe and conducted a three-year empirical study on economic reforms in India. Over the past two decades, he has held senior positions in leading free-market think tanks, where he developed and managed research and outreach initiatives on energy and economic policy. His work increasingly centers on the challenges and opportunities of the global energy transition, including organizing and contributing to numerous high-level conferences on the subject. He is a member of the Mont Pelerin Society and an Honorary Alumni of Students for Liberty.
