Lorenzo Montanari is VP of international advocacy & affairs at the Americans for Tax Reform (ATR) and Tholos Foundation, as well as Executive Director of the Property Rights Alliance (PRA) an advocacy group affiliated with Tholos Foundation for the protection of physical and intellectual property rights, both domestically and internationally.  On the international stage, PRA works closely with the famed property rights champion and President of the Institute for Liberty and Democracy (ILD) in Lima, Peru, Hernando de Soto, and 130 other think tanks. 

At Property Rights Alliance, he is the editor of the International Property Rights Index, and of the Trade Barrier Index, two international comparative studies focus on intellectual and physical property rights and trade. Previously, Montanari worked for a public affairs firm and the international department of the GSPM/George Washington University in Washington, DC as well as a political analyst and electoral observer in Latin America.

Montanari holds a BA in Political Science, an MA in International Relations from the University of Bologna and an MA in Political Management from George Washington University. He is an editorial board member of the European Conservative Magazine and a board member of the International Freedom Educational Foundation. He is a 2017 National Review Fellow. He collaborates with Forbes and Brussels Report.
