Nataliya Melnyk is the Executive Director of Bendukidze Free Market Center in Kyiv, Ukraine, established to promote individual liberty, limited government, and free markets through analysis and development of new and modern policy options, educational programs, and direct engagement with decision-makers in government, business, and civil society.

Nataliya is a frequent contributor to discussions related to the war in Ukraine, as well as economic and political development, and covers these issues for foreign media and is an investment consultant to both for-profit and non-for-profit organizations.

Nataliya is the author and trainer of multiple online and offline youth and teacher workshops, editor of the Ukrainian version of Fraser Institute’s Economic Freedom of the World 2018 and 2019 Report, co-creator and lecturer of an online economic literacy course Economics for Every Day, editor of Economics for 8-9 Grades textbook, co-creator of the Teacher’s Toolkit for Common Sense Economics.

Prior to joining Bendukidze Free Market Center, Nataliya was a development and communications manager at several organizations. In addition, she was a postgraduate researcher at the Kuras Institute of Political and Ethnic Studies. There, she conducted research on issues of national sovereignty in the globalized world, political identification in Ukrainian society, and development of Polish-Ukrainian relations.
